CP7 & CP47 Gas Equipment Safety Inspections

Why should I have an inspection?

It is a legal requirement to ensure that equipment used in the workplace is in a safe condition, well maintained and is inspected regularly.

Failing to comply with safety regulations can result in hefty fines, legal action, and even loss of life. That’s why getting your equipment inspected regularly is not an option, but a must.

What does an inspection involve?

Our trained and qualified inspectors will visit your premises and look for:

Any situation which could result in a mix of gases in the cutting nozzle, torch or hose (which could potentially result in a back fire or flashback causing a fire in the cylinder).

The correct equipment fitting for the application or process, to ensure a cost-effective use of gas.

Full leak testing carried out on each part as well as the whole system.

The correct operation of any internal components.

Faults which have been caused by using incorrect flow rates, which could result in damage to sensitive equipment.

Any internal malfunction of the equipment.

Our inspectors carry a full range of equipment with them so, in most cases, if your equipment fails the inspection or is unsafe to use, our inspector can resolve the issue on the day and give you a pass certificate.
